MADE TO ORDER 

We work in the made-to-order fashion as it is the most sustainable and efficient way to run a brand for handmade items. We keep a minimum inventory in stock and are ready to produce everything in line with our clients’ preferences. The customers contact us with questions about custom-made sizes, color palettes, or designs. Made-to-order small sets take between 10 and 30 days to be completed. For multi-item orders we would need a few weeks for production, packaging, and shipping.

DETAILS

Every Pottery & Poetry item travels multiple times through a set of hands before a block of clay is transformed into a piece of art. We hand-built, dry and retouch each product carefully before it’s bisque fired in the kiln. Then we sand it to smooth the surface, hand-glaze and fire once again. In the manual process, some minor imperfections on the surface and variations of the shape and size may occur. We consider this a feature, not a bug though, because it makes every pot and plate one of a kind, even if they are part of the same collection.
